VOLUNTEER WITH US

We'd love for you to join our team! All volunteer positions are based in Edmonton, Alberta.

What Being a Volunteer Looks Like:

• Communication and collaboration are huge priorities for us! We communicate through email and may invite you to an occasional zoom meeting depending on your role.
• There is no minimum time commitment! Volunteer jobs are assigned on an as-needed and as-available basis. Most volunteer commitments require approximately 2-3 hours for a single task, and you will determine how often your schedule allows for you to help out
• Your membership to Help a Buddy is FREE for every year you are an active volunteer. Memberships for non-volunteers are $20 per year to receive the same benefits. A membership grants you discounts to fundraising events where applicable, voting rights at our AGM, and access to our e-newsletter.
  
• You will be invited to optional board meetings and have a voice at our AGM when we select an animal rescue group as the recipient of our funding
