Animal Rescuers Can Access a Small Donation for Emergency Vet Care
BELLA'S STORYBella was a special dog to our Founder and her husband. She was loved beyond measure, and continues to make an impact with the pawprints she left on our hearts.
On June 21, 2020, Bella experienced a sudden spleen rupture due to a benign mass. Within 20 minutes, a healthy happy dog who had greeted her owners at the door with a wagging tail became lifeless as she lost 60% of her blood. Bella survived a splenectomy, but was showing little signs of recovery in the 24 hours following, when the decision was made to humanely end her life on June 22, 2020. The experience was very traumatic for Bella's family, and left a huge hole in their hearts. Due to the high costs of such an emergency, "Bella Bucks" are aimed to assist with animals recovering from emergency surgeries. |

HOW TO APPLY
Bella Bucks are available throughout the year in amounts up to $500 while funds are available. Applications are accepted year-round and will be reviewed within 4 weeks of receipt. You will be contacted by electronic mail once the Board of Directors has reached a decision on your application.
